Your Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage the complete EPC process for small to medium-scale capital projects, which includes:
    • Developing project scope documents, Request For Quotes, and conducting bid evaluations.
    • Preparing project cost estimates and Capital Authorization Requests for presentation to the Capital Review Board.
    • Issuing purchase orders and change orders as necessary, while processing related invoices to maintain budget compliance.
    • Monitoring project timelines to ensure adherence to schedules.
    • Completing project closeouts promptly for all initiatives.
  • Oversee multiple projects with varying priorities at different stages of the capital process.
  • Define project scopes with input from various disciplines, including process engineering, operations, materials handling, safety, and construction.
  • Work closely with the Construction Coordinator to guarantee timely project delivery.
  • Coordinate with onsite Environmental teams to ensure compliance with permits and regulations.
  • Ensure all projects meet corporate safety, environmental, and applicable standards.
  • Provide timely feedback to third-party engineering firms as required.
  • Engage in Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) or Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPs) as necessary.
  • Participate in corporate internal capital and safety audits.
  • Implement Management of Change (MOC) processes for projects.
  • Update plant procedures as required.
  • Train operational staff on new systems.
  • Facilitate the handover of documentation for project closure and record-keeping.
  • Interact daily with contractors and suppliers.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret and provide feedback on technical documents (e.g., ISO standards, P&ID diagrams, equipment specifications).
  • Note: Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience in capital project execution is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAP, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of PHA, NFPA, OSHA, PSM, and various API and ASME standards.
  • Experience with PSV calculations and control narrative documentation.
