Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Geo-Structural Engineer or Project Structural Engineer to join our team at GeoEngineers, Inc. Our Construction Design Group works on various transportation, energy, development, and natural resources projects across the US.


Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned engineer to take on project-level responsibilities, mentoring junior staff and overseeing their work. You will play a key role in planning field programs, conducting technical briefings, and managing budgets.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead geotechnical/structural engineering analyses and calculations.
  • Prepare high-quality deliverables such as memos, reports, and provide quality assurance/control support.
  • Produce typical geo-structural designs, including temporary excavation support, retaining walls, and shallow foundations.
  • Mentor junior staff in making design decisions based on detailed criteria provided by senior engineers or project managers.
  • Conduct regular site visits, oversee field explorations, and construction observations.
  • Independently produce detailed field reports and submittals, including cover letters, calculations, and construction drawings.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's in Civil Engineering required; Master's in Geotechnical or Structural Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience required.
  • At least one year of project management experience.
  • PE license required.
  • Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification.
  • Professional-level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position, located in Southborough, MA, and Redmond, WA, is $89,300 - $120,800. Compensation offered will be based on individual factors, including education and experience. As part of our competitive total rewards package, employees in this role may also be eligible for our annual year-end bonus offering, subject to program eligibility requirements.
