The Audiology Division at UAB Health System is in search of proficient Audiologists to enhance our vibrant and expanding team. Our audiology program has a distinguished legacy of delivering exceptional care to individuals with auditory and vestibular issues. Audiologists collaborate within a multidisciplinary team alongside specialists in Neurotology, Head and Neck surgery, and Otolaryngology.
Ideal candidates should possess expertise in a range of diagnostic evaluations, including comprehensive audiometric assessments, tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions, acoustic reflex testing, videonystagmography, electrocochleography, auditory brainstem response assessments, and vestibular evoked myogenic potentials.
Beyond diagnostic evaluations, the selected individual will contribute to a comprehensive team focused on amplification and implantable hearing devices.

Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A Master's degree in Audiology and CCC is required for those licensed prior to 2007. A Doctor of Audiology (AUD) is necessary for graduates post-2007. Work experience cannot substitute for educational qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ENG, ECOG, and ABR
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS:
A current Alabama audiology license is mandatory. If licensed in another state, licensure must be updated within 30 days of employment.
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is required or must be obtained within thirty days of employment.
