The Audiology Division within the Department of Otolaryngology is in search of proficient Audiologists to enhance our expanding and vibrant team. Our audiology program has a rich legacy of delivering exceptional care to individuals with auditory and vestibular issues. Audiologists collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside Neurotologists, Head and Neck surgeons, and Otolaryngologists.


Ideal candidates should possess experience in a range of diagnostic evaluations, including: comprehensive audiograms, tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions, acoustic reflexes, videonystagmography, electrocochleography, auditory brainstem response testing, and vestibular evoked myogenic potentials.

In addition to diagnostic assessments, the selected individual will participate in a comprehensive amplification and implantable hearing devices initiative.

Position Requirements:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A Master's degree in Audiology and CCC is required for those licensed prior to 2007. A Doctor of Audiology (AUD) is necessary for graduates post-2007. Work experience cannot substitute for educational qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ENG, ECOG, and ABR

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS:
A current Alabama audiology license is mandatory. If licensed in another state, licensure must be updated within 30 days of employment.
A current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is required or must be obtained within thirty days of employment.

SKILLS:
