  • Applying safety regulations and ergonomic principles.
  • Specifying required mechanical equipment, including both Vanderlande manufactured and third-party items.
  • Creating a motor manifest in accordance with electrical and controls engineering requirements.
  • Documenting all engineering decisions through comprehensive design plans, clear installation files, and engineering instructions directed to site supervisors and installation subcontractors.
  • Traveling to sites as necessary to conduct surveys.
  • Supporting installation and commissioning efforts both on-site and remotely.
  • Managing project documentation using a rights-based database system.
Requirements:
  • This is an entry-level position:

    • Or an Associate's ME/ET degree with 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 50% with occasional international opportunities.
  • Capability to think conceptually (overall system) and translate this into detailed system designs.
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where teamwork and collaboration are essential.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively understand and set expectations for deliverables.
  • Aptitude for managing time-sensitive situations and quickly establishing the right priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
