Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team at Independent School District 15. As an SLP, you will provide therapy and case management services to students at the secondary level, working collaboratively with a team of 10 SLPs to meet the needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct instruction to students in the areas of speech and communication as outlined in their IEPs.
  • Consult with other staff members on the successful implementation of communication strategies and assistive devices within the educational setting.
  • Complete speech/communication assessments on identified students.
  • Complete written documents related to speech services (IEPs, Evaluation Reports, Progress Reports, etc.).
  • Attend and sometimes facilitate IEP meetings for assigned students.
  • Provide case management services for assigned students.
  • Complete Third Party Billing documentation for MA eligible students.
About Our District

Independent School District 15 is a rural/suburban district located in northern Anoka County and southern Isanti County. We are a 45-minute drive from Minneapolis and a great traffic-free drive from every direction. Our district annually educates more than 4,100 students, and our team of SLPs work collaboratively to meet the needs of our students.

Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with a Minnesota Teacher Licensure as an Educational Speech Language Pathologist and a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language. Candidates who are eligible to obtain a Certificate of Clinical Competence will also be considered.
