About the Job

Caring Companions, a family-owned and operated In-Home Senior Care, is seeking a compassionate and skilled In-Home Caregiver to join our team in Fairburn, GA. As a caregiver, you will provide personalized and quality home care to seniors in Middle Georgia, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal hygiene assistance, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating
  • Remind clients to take prescribed medication and assist with ambulation
  • Help with mobility around the house or outside, including doctor's appointments and walks
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene, plan and prepare meals, and help with physical therapy exercises
  • Complete client's shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
  • Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents
  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
  • Offer activities essential for daily living, including assisting patients with meals
Requirements
  • MUST be able to pass a Drug Screen
  • Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation every single day
  • Current Tuberculosis Test Results
  • Current CPR & First Aid Certification
  • Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends and unexpected emergency shifts
  • Prior experience in a senior healthcare, hospitality, or senior in-home care environment (Minimum of 1 year)
  • Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
