Caring Companions is a family-owned and operated senior care service with 18 years of dedicated experience in providing exceptional in-home support to seniors throughout Middle Georgia. Our commitment is to deliver personalized and high-quality care tailored to the unique needs of each client.

Availability: We offer 24/7 services, ensuring that our clients receive assistance whenever they need it. Our advanced online systems facilitate easy access to schedules, clocking in/out, and other essential information. We also provide Free Online Training to enhance the skills and knowledge of our caregivers.

Ideal Candidate: We are looking for individuals who are patient, friendly, and possess excellent communication skills. The ability to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to assist clients is essential. This role can be demanding, requiring flexibility and availability, but it is also incredibly rewarding as you will make a significant difference in the lives of those who are ill, injured, disabled, or elderly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist elderly clients with personal hygiene needs, including bathing, dressing, and eating.
  • Remind clients to take prescribed medications and assist with mobility.
  • Help clients with daily activities, including meal preparation and physical therapy exercises.
  • Accompany clients on errands or outings as needed.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents.
  • Respond promptly and responsibly in emergency situations.
  • Engage clients in activities that promote daily living skills.

Qualifications:

  • Must pass a drug screening.
  • Experience in a one-on-one caregiving setting is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
  • Current Tuberculosis test results and CPR & First Aid certification are necessary.
  • Ability to act compassionately and supportively towards clients.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Prior experience in senior healthcare or in-home care is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $14-$15 per hour
