Assistant Manager Job Description

Are you a motivated and organized individual looking for a challenging role in a dynamic environment? We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team at FAS MART, a thriving convenience store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to oversee all store operations, ensuring seamless day-to-day management.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a skilled and enthusiastic store crew, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Provide inspirational feedback and coaching to team members, promoting a motivated and productive workforce.
  • Manage employee schedules, ensuring efficient store operations and excellent customer service.
  • Oversee inventory management, from ordering to stocking, maintaining optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure the store is well-maintained, clean, and safe for customers and employees.
  • Assist with financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
  • Act as a backup for the Store Manager, ensuring continuity of operations during their absence.

Requirements:

  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle and liability insurance.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts and days, adapting to our dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in English and basic math skills.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Willingness to learn and participate in training programs, such as Topshelf Manager Training.
