Vascular Sonographer

Harborview Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team. As a Vascular Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic vascular examinations, interpreting and presenting findings to healthcare providers, and maintaining examination facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform high-level vascular tests, independent of direct physician supervision.
• Use a variety of testing instrumentation, including ultrasound machines and Doppler devices.
• Adapt examinations to answer clinical questions and prepare preliminary reports based on examination findings.
• Maintain examination facilities and equipment in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
• Completion of a training program accredited by the American Medical Association - Committee on Allied Health Education (AMA-CAHEA) for vascular ultrasound.
• Possession of current registration as a Registered Vascular Technologist through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent education/experience.
