We are seeking a highly experienced Facilities Engineer with over 10 years in the field to take on a pivotal role in Project Management within our Facilities Engineering team. This position demands extensive expertise in upstream operations.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize strong communication skills to liaise with a diverse team including operations, engineering, and safety personnel to ensure effective design and operational strategies.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, budget constraints, and timelines.
- Oversee Central Tank Batteries (CTB) facilities, leveraging engineering and operational data to enhance production efficiency and meet environmental goals.
- Apply Engineering & Closed Vent Study (CVS) design standards to guarantee compliance with both company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with technical and operational teams to devise solutions for recurring design and operational issues.
- Draft essential project documentation including Scope of Work (SOW), cost estimates, and Project Execution Plans (PEP).
- Coordinate the development of construction RFQ packages in collaboration with third-party engineering firms and operations personnel.
- Ensure that Management of Change (MOC) processes are effectively managed and documented.
- Facilitate Pre-Start-up Safety Reviews (PSSR) in conjunction with engineering and construction teams.
- Proficient in the sizing and selection of production equipment and associated systems.
- Familiarity with vapor recovery units and related vent piping systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with modeling software such as Aspen Hysys and ProMax is preferred.
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards relevant to upstream Oil & Gas operations.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Experience with an onshore upstream operator or an EPC firm is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel to field locations as required.
A degree in Engineering is required, with a preference for petroleum, chemical, mechanical, or civil disciplines.
