Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in providing direct and indirect patient care in the ambulatory setting. As a member of the Monument Health team, you will work collaboratively to deliver high-quality patient care under the supervision of a physician or Registered Nurse (RN).

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare examination and treatment areas according to clinic standards
  • Participate in pre-visit planning and prepare exam and treatment areas
  • Complete patient rooming procedures, including vital signs and data collection
  • Accurately administer and document medications in accordance with best practice and clinic policy
  • Perform nursing procedures and treatments within Scope of Responsibilities
Requirements
  • Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification in South Dakota
  • 1+ year of healthcare experience (preferred)
