Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and effective nursing care to patients. As an LPN in our Cardiology Clinic, you will work under the supervision of the House Supervisor/RN and utilize your nursing skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare examination and treatment areas per clinic standards
  • Complete patient rooming procedures, including vital signs and data collection
  • Accurately administer and document medications in accordance with best practice and clinic policy
  • Perform nursing procedures and treatments within Scope of Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with RN/provider to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Requirements
  • Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification in South Dakota
  • 1+ year of healthcare experience (preferred)
