Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Scot Forge, a 130-year-old, 100% employee-owned company that manufactures custom open die and rolled ring forgings.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, PLCs, and mechanical components.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimize disruptions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance environment.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Experience with PLCs, preventative maintenance, and equipment repair.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or technical diploma preferred.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at elevations up to 60 feet.
