Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Haywood Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support services to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by a Registered Nurse, including vital sign monitoring, blood glucose measurements, and intake/output recording.
  • Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.
  • Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized patient environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Handle With Care certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Nursing Assistant certification in the state of North Carolina.
