Position Overview:


The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will perform essential patient care tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, potentially measuring blood glucose levels, and documenting patient intake and output.

Assist patients with personal care and daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, and eating, while promptly reporting any abnormal findings or changes in the patient's physical, mental, or emotional state to the nursing staff.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in patient rooms and common areas.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
Experience: Prior experience in acute care settings is preferred.
Skills: Strong critical thinking abilities, sound judgment, and the capacity to work independently. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and respond appropriately to challenges.

Certifications Required:
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Licenses Required: Certified Nursing Assistant in North Carolina.
