JOB FUNCTION:
The primary responsibility of this position is to conduct maintenance and repairs on various mobile equipment. The technician will work independently to perform maintenance tasks and minor repairs, including oil changes, brake adjustments, and tire replacements.

It is crucial for candidates to possess their own hand tools and be prepared to work with minimal supervision.

This role is classified as non-exempt and is subject to random drug testing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The technician will be responsible for:

1. Conducting routine maintenance inspections and performing preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, lubrication, and fluid level checks.

2. Identifying worn or malfunctioning parts through visual inspections and testing equipment.

3. Executing repairs by cleaning, reinstalling, or replacing defective components.

4. Assisting senior mechanics with major repairs and overhauls.

5. Maintaining cleanliness of equipment and keeping accurate maintenance records.

6. Ordering necessary parts and materials for repairs.

7. Completing all required documentation related to work assignments.

8. Adhering to safety regulations and participating in training programs.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate:

- A high school diploma or GED.

- A minimum of 5 years of relevant mechanical experience.

- Knowledge of equipment operating procedures and safety regulations.

- The ability to perform physical labor and handle equipment maintenance tasks.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical requirements for this position include:

- Regularly lifting and moving items up to 100 pounds.

- Performing tasks that require sitting, standing, and using hands for various activities.

- Working in various weather conditions and environments.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment includes exposure to:

- Outdoor weather conditions and mechanical parts.
