Job Summary

Kinder Hearts Home Health & Hospice is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Hospice Aide, you will provide essential care and support to patients with terminal illnesses, promoting their comfort and dignity.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Provide personal care services to patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
2. Assist patients with daily activities, such as ambulation, exercise, and grooming.
3. Maintain patient records, documenting care provided and observations made.
4. Report any changes or concerns to the Case Manager.
5. Assist with light housekeeping and laundry tasks as needed.
6. Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities.
7. Maintain confidentiality and respect patient and family boundaries.

Requirements

1. Completion of a state-established training program or competency evaluation program.
2. Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.
3. Understanding of hospice philosophy and ability to provide specialized care to the terminally ill.
4. Self-direction with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
5. Current CPR certification and valid driver's license.
