Warby Parker is seeking an experienced Optical Supervisor to join our team of in-house optical professionals. As an Optical Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the highest quality of optical care, and leading the Optical team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expert optical care to customers, including taking and recording measurements, adjusting and fitting eyewear, and executing these details with flawless accuracy.
• Work directly with customers to help meet all of their eyewear needs, using your expertise to explain prescription terminology and product offerings.
• Set the store up for success each day by ensuring that all operational, service, and staff zoning procedures are executed to Warby Parker standards.
• Drive the store vision and sales by providing above-and-beyond service on the floor and acting as the main contact for customer and operational questions.
Requirements:
A licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or an ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states) with 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities. Passionate about the eyewear and retail industries, with a clear, effective, and professional communication style. Dedicated to going above-and-beyond to make customers (and your teammates) happy. An energetic, positive team player who's able to adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
About Us:
Warby Parker was founded with a mission: to inspire and impact the world with vision, purpose, and style. We're constantly asking ourselves how we can do more and make a greater impact, and that starts by reimagining everything that a company and industry can be. We want to demonstrate that a business can scale while doing good in the world, without charging a premium for it. And we've learned that it takes creativity, empathy, and innovation to achieve that goal.
What We Offer:
A competitive hourly rate of $22.25-$24.75 USD, with the opportunity to receive a cash bonus as part of the total compensation package. A dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for growth and development. A chance to be part of a company that's making a difference in the world, one pair of glasses at a time.
