The University of Minnesota's Department of Genetics, Cell Biology and Development is seeking a highly skilled Program Coordinator to support the Genetic Counseling Program. This role will partner with the Program Director to provide exceptional support to students from program acceptance through graduation.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in program coordination, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for advising students on program requirements, milestones, and planning strategies, as well as coordinating program admissions, fieldwork, and other administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, with at least 6 months of experience working with a graduate program. Experience working with healthcare-related educational programs and completed Mental Health Advocate Training are preferred.
