Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Brio Living Services. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing daily pharmaceutical supportive services for our LifeCircles PACE clinic.

• Deliver and distribute medications and medication orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Identify and communicate medication compliance issues to the pharmacist and clinical team.
• Assist the Clinical Pharmacist with medication compliance oversight.
• Perform home visits to assess and assist with medication compliance.
• Coordinate medication changes during transitions of care.
• Perform medication reconciliations during transitions of care.
• Communicate regularly with participants, care partners, and the PACE contracted pharmacy to address medication refill needs and answer questions.
• Maintain accurate inventory of stock medication and ensure proper storage and security conditions.
• Assist in preparing alternate medication packaging as directed by the pharmacist.
• Ensure accurate charting and data-entry into electronic medical records.

• Minimum of one year of work experience in a health-related area.
• CPR Certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the elderly.
• Current Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license with the State of Michigan.
• Ability to visually identify commonly prescribed medications.
• Valid unrestricted state of Michigan driver's license.
• Previous experience of at least 2 years preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.
• Experience with multiple forms of medication packaging preferred.
• Must have great attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Must be technologically adept and proficient in electronic medical records.
