POSITION SUMMARY

The role involves managing financial exchanges for patrons at Mountaineer Casino Resort.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Verifying gaming tickets.
  2. Converting tickets or chips into their cash equivalents.
  3. Facilitating cash advances, check cashing, and providing change to guests.
  4. Responsible for all financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of the cash drawer.
  5. Performing additional tasks as assigned.
REPORTING STRUCTURE

This position reports directly to the Shift Manager of the Cage, followed by the Manager of Cage and Credit Operations.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Exceptional communication skills, a courteous demeanor, and a professional appearance are essential.
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Availability to work various shifts is required.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to obtain a Level 2 Table Games License and a VLT Validation Manager License through the West Virginia Lottery.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and secure a West Virginia Racing License.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Six months of cash handling experience or a related background is preferred. Familiarity with Federal Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) regulations is advantageous.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The role necessitates the ability to stand or sit for extended periods. Candidates should be capable of pushing, pulling, kneeling, twisting, carrying, and lifting items weighing up to 40 lbs.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Employees may encounter a noisy environment with exposure to smoke and seasonal elements.
