Mitigation Operations Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mitigation Team Leader to oversee and manage our mitigation operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in disaster recovery, including water, fire, mold, and other property damage mitigation. You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Supervision: Lead, train, and supervise a team of mitigation technicians, ensuring they follow proper procedures and safety protocols.
- Project Management: Oversee all aspects of mitigation projects, from initial assessment to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Damage Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of damaged properties, determine the appropriate mitigation measures, and create action plans.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear communication and updates throughout the mitigation process.
- Documentation: Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time, including job notes, photographs, and paperwork required for insurance claims.
- Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance, inventory, and deployment of mitigation equipment and materials.
- Quality Control: Monitor work quality and compliance with industry standards, company policies, and customer expectations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, estimators, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
- Problem-Solving: Address challenges that arise during mitigation projects and provide effective solutions to keep the project on track.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all team members adhere to safety regulations and that job sites are safe for workers and clients.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in mitigation/restoration work, with a focus on water, fire, and mold damage.
- Leadership: Proven experience leading and managing teams, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with industry-standard mitigation techniques, equipment, and software.
- Certifications: IICRC certifications in Water Damage Restoration, Fire and Smoke Restoration, or Mold Remediation are preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges on the job site.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate documentation and high-quality work.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and carrying equipment, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.
