Key Responsibilities:
Administration and Support for Spotfire:
- Oversee operations including configuration, monitoring, security, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues.
- Manage system modifications such as installations, upgrades, patches, and testing.
- Collaborate closely with various teams on planning, delivery, and Spotfire-related issues.
- Monitor performance and disk space utilization of Spotfire servers.
- Develop and maintain scripts for automating administrative tasks.
- Ensure compliance of all Spotfire servers with company security protocols.
- Document administrative tasks and manage the Spotfire COE SharePoint site.
- Partner with IT teams including Windows Server, Production Control, Database Services, and others for ongoing operations.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical production issues.
- Provide technical consulting and guidance for the design and development of complex Spotfire reports.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to maintain an effective operating environment, focusing on throughput, repository sizing, capacity planning, and maintenance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience (10+ years in IT).
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Spotfire administration and report development.
- At least 2 years' experience in software administration, support, or development.
- Proficient in SQL for database querying (2+ years).
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems (1+ years).
- Familiarity with BI and Analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of Integration platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for quick issue resolution.
- Willingness to work outside of regular hours for necessary changes or upgrades.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on team collaboration.
- Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal skills to build networks globally.
- 3+ years' experience with Windows Virtual Servers.
- Previous experience in installing, patching, and supporting commercial software.
- Basic understanding of application integration.
- Experience with SQL on Oracle and MS SQL Server.
- Familiarity with R and IronPython programming languages.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and its integration with applications using LDAP and Kerberos.
