Job Summary
This role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and high-quality operation of the Vinyl unit systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to quality, training, and professional development, with a focus on enhancing the work life and career experience of our team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Vinyl unit, adhering to all relevant health and safety policies and procedures.
- Perform outside operating activities, including observing, obtaining, and recording data readings, and maintaining proper levels, temperatures, pressures, and flows.
- Communicate effectively with lead operators, chief lead operators, and shift supervisors to ensure seamless operation of the unit.
- Conduct regular sampling and testing of process materials, and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment, and ensure the unit is prepared for maintenance work.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve operational excellence and meet business objectives.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures, and perform duties in accordance with the job description.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a similar role.
- Ability to score Gold or above on the ACT WorkKeys test.
Working Conditions
The successful candidate will work in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to dust, high noise levels, and outdoor conditions. The role may also require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the ability to work at heights.
