Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join Highmark Health as a Sales Consultant, where you will be responsible for generating new business revenue and retaining profitable business for our Stop Loss line of business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business revenue and retain profitable clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with producers and their customers, identifying prospects and promoting Highmark Health products and strategies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and goals, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a Business field or six (6) years of progressive related experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • 3-5 years of insurance sales experience, with a focus on Stop Loss and/or Self-Funded health insurance sales.
  • Producer license in Life, Accident & Health is required or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in a sales or business development role, with a focus on healthcare or insurance.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare and insurance industry trends, products, and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with producers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
