About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer in Test to join our Digital Experience Platform team at Fidelity TalentSource LLC. As a key member of our autonomous, cross-functional team, you will be responsible for building and supporting the web user experience and the underlying platforms needed to support our digital presence.

As a Senior SET, you will apply your strong test automation skills to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve customer-facing software solutions. You will also support your team in adopting test automation frameworks and best practices to ensure we are building the right product and we are building it right.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for web applications using test automation frameworks like Cypress, Puppeteer, or Playwright.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure testability and security in software design.
  • Participate in the development process through writing and maintaining application features and automated tests.
  • Support the team in designing reliable, accurate tests and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Enable the team in designing and developing automation harnesses using Selenium, Protractor, or Robot Framework.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience with building, debugging, testing, and supporting web applications.
  • Strong expertise in software testing and test automation.
  • Strong web application development background with AngularJS/ReactJS, NodeJS, HTML5, GraphQL.
  • DevOps experience using Jenkins, Jira, Stash, etc.
  • Experience in delivering software in an Agile environment.
