Qualifications/Essential Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to work hours set by the Finance Director and additional hours as necessary for assigned duties.
  • Monthly Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare and post journal entries,
    • Upload journal entries,
    • Reconcile assigned accounts,
    • Calculate accrued expenses for month-end entries,
    • Review journal entries for compliance with GAAP,
    • Authorize journal entries.
  • Banking and Cash Management:
    • Process daily or weekly deposits,
    • Verify bank transactions,
    • Reconcile cash receipts with journal postings,
    • Maintain check registers,
    • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations,
    • Perform petty cash audits.
  • Utilization Reporting:
    • Generate monthly fee-for-service utilization reports,
    • Compile monthly grant utilization reports,
    • Analyze and reconcile reports to revenue accounts,
    • Identify trends or issues in utilization reports.
  • Schedules and Financial Statements:
    • Prepare reconciliation schedules,
    • Distribute internal financial statements,
    • Analyze and identify trends or issues relevant to financial schedules.
  • Annual Audit Preparation:
    • Compile audit schedules as required,
    • Review and approve schedules.
  • Project Involvement:
    • Engage in projects as necessary,
    • Assist with new business initiatives,
    • Support the implementation of new technologies.
  • Provide support for the Controller and Staff Accountants as needed.
  • Participate actively in Finance team meetings and initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with ethical standards and legal frameworks.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service consistently.
  • Serve as a role model for colleagues and clients, demonstrating positive interactions.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.

Work Schedule: 8-hour shifts

  • Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Monday through Friday
  • Hybrid work schedule available post-training.
