We are currently looking for a qualified Construction Materials Testing Technician to enhance our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing both field and laboratory assessments of materials such as concrete, soils, asphalt, and aggregates. This role involves supporting team members by transporting necessary equipment and documentation to various locations, ensuring smooth operations between field and laboratory settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute field and laboratory tests on concrete, soils, asphalt, and aggregates.
  • Assist colleagues by moving equipment, samples, and documents to relevant personnel and locations.
  • Maintain strong customer relations through effective communication with contractors, owners, architects, and engineers.
  • Interpret and comprehend plans and specifications accurately.
  • Gather and report precise data according to site requirements.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols established by the organization.
Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Experience in health and safety management with field teams.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams.
Preferred Qualifications: (Training will be provided)
  • ACI Field Concrete Technician certification.
  • ACI Compressive Strength certification.
  • Radiation Safety Certification.
Compensation:

Hourly pay ranges from $23 to $35, with final compensation determined by individual qualifications and experience.
