Communications Specialist

At Encompass Health, we're seeking a skilled Communications Specialist to join our team as a Speech Pathologist.
About the RoleWe're looking for an experienced Speech Pathologist to help us deliver exceptional care to our patients. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in evaluating, assessing, and developing personalized treatment plans for individuals with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
Your work will involve identifying issues, modifying therapy treatment if necessary, tracking patient progress, and celebrating successes along the way.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluating patients to identify their unique communication needs
- Developing and administering tailored treatment plans to address those needs
- Celebrating patient victories and continuously improving your practice
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with relevant field experience
