Job Overview

Salary: $29.40+/Hour

Double L Management is seeking to enhance its workforce with skilled plastering supervisors.

  • Work Environment: This position requires travel across various locations as there is no fixed home base.
  • Transportation: Candidates must possess reliable means of transportation.
  • Background Check: No background check is necessary.
  • Drug Screening: Candidates must successfully pass a drug screening.
  • Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States. Participation in E-Verify is required.
  • Education: A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Union Membership: Joining the union is required.
  • Preferred Skills: Knowledge of hawk and trowel techniques, experience with plastering, and familiarity with plaster mixing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply plaster coatings to walls, ceilings, or partitions using tools such as trowels, brushes, or spray equipment.
  • Set up scaffolding as necessary for work.
  • Apply weather-resistant and decorative finishes to exterior surfaces, including stucco applications.
  • Prepare surfaces for plaster, cement, stucco, or similar materials through cleaning and drywall taping.
  • Mix necessary substances or compounds for plastering tasks.
  • Mold or install decorative plaster elements, panels, or trim.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs, as well as climb ladders and work in confined spaces.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools.
  • Proficient in basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, with the ability to perform calculations quickly and accurately.
