As a Solar Electrical Design Engineer, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of clean energy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and optimize electrical designs for solar PV systems, performing AC/DC sizing and selecting hardware.
  • Manage electrical design for multiple utility-scale and C&I solar projects, ensuring they stay on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with talented engineers from civil, structural, and mechanical teams to integrate seamless project designs.
  • Conduct thorough electrical calculations and studies to ensure every design meets top industry standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest solar technologies, NEC/NESC standards, and best practices to bring innovation to every project.
  • Provide crucial technical support during the construction phase, handling site surveys, contractor queries, and document reviews.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of electrical design experience in solar projects.
  • Mastery of PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD, and electrical construction techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with C&I and utility-scale solar projects, and deep knowledge of NEC/NESC standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills to collaborate with clients, consultants, and teams.
  • Ability to manage project scope, timelines, and budget, while navigating complex challenges.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
