Job Overview

Position: Front-End Loader Operator - Manufacturing

Department: Asphalt Production

Reports To: Plant Manager / Yard Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently operates front-end loader to excavate and transport materials to and from designated stockpiles.

Primary Duties:

  • Transfers materials from stockpiles to appropriate bins for asphalt production.
  • Loads materials into dump trucks for transport.
  • Utilizes various hand tools as required.
  • Applies basic mechanical skills to assist with routine plant maintenance.
  • Performs oiling, greasing, servicing, and makes standard operational adjustments to equipment.
  • Maintains yard cleanliness and organization.
  • Travels between different operational sites as necessary.
  • Observes and monitors site activities to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Completes additional tasks as assigned or necessary.
  • Note: The responsibilities outlined are not exhaustive and may be expanded as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma is preferred.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience operating a front-end loader or similar heavy machinery.
