At Froedtert Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic radiology department, you will be responsible for preparing patients and performing radiographic procedures in diagnostic radiology and operating imaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients and perform radiographic procedures in diagnostic radiology
- Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Adhere to organizational customer service standards and support excellence initiatives
- Provide positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff
- Perform ancillary services and assist in patient care areas as necessary
- ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent
- One year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology (clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year of current clinical experience)
- Additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field
