Shipyard Career Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Naval Yard Craftsman to join our team in San Diego, CA. As a Shipfitter, you will work on Naval Bases & Shipyards from 6:00am to 2:30pm and overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, lay out, and mark structures to be removed using drawings, specifications, and sketches.
  • Cut out existing structures as required by the drawings or specifications, or as directed by the supervisor.
  • Construct templates and fabricate foundations or other structures.
  • Install prefabricated foundations and structures in accordance with drawings and specifications.
Requirements:
  • Must comply with OSHA & NAVSEA standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Compensation:
  • Salary: $25.00/hr with per diem available.
  • Benefits: health insurance, 401k plan, paid holidays, and paid sick leave.
