We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality patient care and safety in our diagnostic imaging department.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain CT scanners, pressure injectors, resuscitation equipment, laser filmers, and teleradiology systems to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.
- Prepare, transfer, and position patients for CT scans, ensuring modesty and safety while utilizing auxiliary equipment and devices as needed.
- Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exams, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within our electronic medical record system accurately and on time.
- Obtain high-quality CT images, ensuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation.
- Remain proficient in executing software protocols and stay up-to-date with changes in the field through in-service study, attending courses or seminars as necessary.
- Check the operation of equipment, maintain cleanliness of tables and equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases, and keep rooms stocked with linens and necessary supplies.
- Active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
- Minimum of 1-3 years current/recent experience as a CT Technologist, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting of patients/equipment up to 50 lbs.
