Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician to join our team at Miami Beach Medical Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing radiological duties in compliance with department and legal requirements while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques and adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform examinations according to study protocols and maintain production and quality of radiographs.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment for proper working conditions and report any malfunctions or damage to management.
  • Track and relay patient results, send provider-ordered medication to pharmacies, and manage incoming medication refill requests.
  • Ensure the order and cleanliness of each examination room and x-ray facilities.
  • Perform routine inventories and replenish medical supplies and disposables.
  • Assist with medical chart prep and maintain patient accounts by uploading outside medical records and consult reports.
Requirements
  • BLS Certification preferred.
  • ARRT Certification preferred.
  • Completion of high school or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced insurance or healthcare setting.
  • Strong organization and process management skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Access.
