Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Perioperative Care team at Baptist Health Lexington. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

About the Team

The Surgical Services Department encompasses several key areas, including Pre-Op, 20 operating rooms, a Postoperative Care Unit, Endoscopy Department, and Sterile Processing Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient assessment and development of comprehensive care plans
  • Direct care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Collaboration with anesthesia and surgical teams to optimize OR operations
  • Leadership and supervision of Patient Care Techs and other support staff
  • Skillful management of patient care delivery, prioritizing tasks and resources effectively

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Current RN licensure in Kentucky
  • Bachelor's or associate degree in nursing from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse
  • ACLS/PALS/NRP certification, along with completion of dysrhythmia class

Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum
