Key Responsibilities- Load and Unload Aircraft: Safely load and unload passenger baggage, air cargo, and mail from aircraft.
- Operate Ground Equipment: Operate pushback equipment, belt loaders, and other ground equipment to facilitate aircraft movement.
- Handle Customer Baggage: Safeguard customer baggage, air cargo, and mail from damage, loss, or theft.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate with customers, colleagues, and air traffic control via radio equipment.
- Perform Administrative Tasks: Complete paperwork and forms related to work assignments and enter data into our information system.
- Local Residency: Must be a local resident.
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid in-state driver's license.
- Background Check: Must pass a pre-employment background check.
- Physical Abilities: Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items weighing up to 70 pounds, and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
