Key Responsibilities- Classroom Management: Supervise all classroom and outdoor activities, ensuring the welfare, health, and safety of the children.
- Child Development: Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum/learning experiences in line with the CT-ELDS and NAEYC Standards.
- Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with families, including regular updates on child progress and any concerns.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Professional Development: Attend workshops, conferences, and in-service trainings to stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a non-related field with 36 credits in Early Childhood Education.
- Certifications: First Aid and CPR certification, and Medication and Epi-pen certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working with young children in an early childhood education setting.
- Competitive Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience.
