Job OverviewThe primary role involves overseeing the Chargemaster for Cooper University Health System to guarantee effective revenue generation, enhance all facets of revenue cycle operations (including coding, charge capture, and process flow), and ensure adherence to third-party payer regulations.
A minimum of 2-4 years of experience and familiarity with hospital operations and payment systems is essential. A solid understanding of Chargemaster methodology and various coding systems utilized in healthcare, financial management, and reporting is required.
Educational QualificationsA High School Diploma or Equivalent is mandatory; a college degree is preferred.
Certification RequirementsA recognized coding certification (such as CPC, CPC-H, CCS-P, CCS, RHIA, RHIT, etc.) is required to be maintained or in progress.
