Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing hydro-mechanical control systems for aerospace applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop hydro-mechanical control systems for aerospace applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements
  • Utilize 3D analysis tools such as Finite Element Analysis and Computational Fluid Dynamics to optimize system performance
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and drawings
  • Work with product definition team to ensure design meets industry standards and regulations
  • Support and present technical work in product design reviews
  • Ensure proper filing and control of design data
Requirements:
  • BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with aircraft sub-systems, hydro-mechanical control systems, and engine control systems
  • Advanced user of Siemens NX/Teamcenter environments
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation
  • Proven capacity to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
  • Work Environment: Primarily office-based, requiring on-site presence at customer facility
  • Task Allocation: Extensive telephone, video conferencing, and computer work
  • Schedule Flexibility: Flexibility to accommodate business deadlines
  • Workweek: Typically follows a 40-hour workweek
