An opportunity for an Embedded Software Engineer is available through IntePros. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in the embedded software development for a Robotic Assisted Surgery platform. This position involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of mechanical, electrical, and software engineers focused on defining, designing, coding, implementing, unit testing, and validating the embedded software for the Robotic Assisted Surgery platform.

This position is primarily on-site with a hybrid work option available.

This is a 1-year W2 contract assignment.

Open to Green Card holders and U.S. Citizens.

Compensation for this role ranges from $50 to $75 per hour, depending on qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in scrum activities and may assume the role of scrum master or product owner as required by project demands.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Lead the development of embedded software, encompassing code definition, design, implementation, unit testing, and system validation.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in embedded software development is essential.
  • Proficiency in Embedded C, C++, RTOS, and Object-Oriented Programming is required.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies or Scrum is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Linux, QNX, or other operating systems is expected.
