Senior Firmware Engineer

As a Senior Firmware Engineer at The LEGO Group, you will play a key role in developing embedded firmware for highly optimized microelectronics and integrating them into sophisticated mechatronic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain firmware for microcontrollers and other embedded systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate firmware into mechatronic systems
  • Participate in system-level design, proof of concept creation, and product development execution
  • Ensure firmware meets global regulatory and safety requirements
  • Lead by example by demonstrating excellence in abstract problem solving, firmware engineering, and collaboration

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in embedded engineering roles
  • High proficiency in C and Python programming languages
  • Experience with embedded real-time operating systems and low-power microcontroller architecture
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
