Core Faculty Physician in Family Medicine Residency

Position Overview:
BayCare Medical Group is a physician-led organization seeking a board certified or board eligible Family Medicine physician for a key faculty role in our residency program.
In partnership with the Florida State University College of Medicine, the primary mission of the FSU Family Medicine Residency Program is to foster a vibrant, professional learning atmosphere. This environment is anchored in the principles of continuous education, teaching excellence, quality enhancement, evidence-based practices, and scholarly activities.
Our objective is to cultivate and mentor the upcoming generation of Family Physicians in Florida and the BayCare System.
The majority of the faculty's efforts will be dedicated to these essential pursuits.
Qualifications:
Opportunity to engage in a newly established Family Medicine Residency program.
Shared call responsibilities with fellow family medicine department physicians.
Supportive and collaborative work environment.
Comprehensive outpatient family medicine practice, including prenatal care, pediatrics, and adult medicine.
Regularly mentor residents in clinical settings.
Conduct and supervise various office procedures.
Contribute significantly to curriculum development and resident career guidance.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills are essential. Proficiency in electronic documentation is required.
Position Requires:
