Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Annapolis, Maryland. As a key member of our gastroenterology care center, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with our healthcare team, and contribute to our organization's growth and success.

Responsibilities
  • Provide in-office care to patients with acute illnesses and exacerbations of chronic disease, under the supervision of physicians.
  • Examine, diagnose, and coordinate treatment plans for patients, including ordering and interpreting lab tests and imaging scans.
  • Record progress notes, instruct and counsel patients, and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Write and refill prescriptions appropriate for diagnosis.
  • Review patient results, including pathology, and document patient information in eClinicalWorks in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties related to the specialty of gastroenterology as assigned.
Requirements
  • Active CRNP license in the state of Maryland.
  • Certification as CRNP with prescriptive authority.
  • GI experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of APP experience required.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with the healthcare team.
  • Demonstrate integrity, adaptability, and a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of our patients and teammates.
