This role requires a strong background in fire alarm testing and documentation, as well as knowledge of basic electricity and electronics. NICET certification or state fire certification is highly desirable. Some key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Conducting fire tests at client locations and certifying new fire alarm installations
  • Ensuring compliance with safety guidelines, including ladder safety
  • Operating computer-based systems and performing system test layouts and preparation
  • Requesting and checking equipment, maps per assigned work and blueprint reading
  • Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with contractors and clients
  • Maintaining accurate and complete daily work orders
  • Promoting professional representation of the company in communication and appearance

The estimated salary for this role is $62,000+ annually based on experience/Certification Level and full-time employment of 40 hours per week. Benefits include major medical health and life insurance, paid time off and holidays, retirement account participation and company contribution, and regular Monday through Friday hours.
