Job Title: NDT X-Ray Inspector

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled NDT X-Ray Inspector to join our team at STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH. As an NDT X-Ray Inspector, you will be responsible for the production and interpretation of radiographic images of tube assemblies or castings, for dimensional inspection, flaw detection, or presence of foreign material.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately read and follow X-ray film or digital techniques to produce quality images
  • Adjust controls of Liquid Penetrant machines/equipment on console to inspect and certify parts or assemblies
  • Follow set radiation safety procedures for personnel and area monitoring
  • Perform system checks as required
  • Required to follow procedures in the techniques for which certified
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Consistently, regularly and dependably at work and on time
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed

Requirements:

Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
