About the Role:
STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking a skilled NDT Inspector to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing and interpreting radiographic images of tube assemblies or castings for dimensional inspection, flaw detection, or presence of foreign material.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately read and follow X-ray film or digital techniques to produce quality images
- Adjust controls of Liquid Penetrant machines/equipment on console to inspect and certify parts or assemblies
- Follow set radiation safety procedures for personnel and area monitoring
- Perform system checks as required
- Required to follow procedures in the techniques for which certified
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Consistently, regularly and dependably at work and on time
Requirements:
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
