Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:

Aureus Medical Group is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Washington, D.C. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatments as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic procedures to assess patients' respiratory function.

Requirements:

  • CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • State License-Respiratory Therapist-District of Columbia.
  • Ability to lift 50-100lbs.
